Estimating the prevalence of wheeled mobility use and examining activity limitations and participation restrictions in everyday life for Canadian children under 15 years of age with mobility limitations: a population study.
Limited information exists regarding prevalence of manual wheelchair (MWC) and power wheelchair (PWC) use for Canadian children. Secondary analysis of the Statistics Canada 2006 Participation and Activity Limitations Survey (PALS) will estimate this prevalence and examine the activity limitations and participation restrictions in daily life for a subgroup of children under 15 years of age who have mobility limitations.
